January 26, 2024. Petropavlovsk. A meeting of teachers and parents was held in the assembly hall of the high school in honor of St. Sergius of Radonezh.
The event was presided over by the school director, Archbishop of Petropavlovsk and Bulaevsky Vladimir. The purpose of the meeting was to summarize the educational activities of pupils in the first half of the year and approve work plans until the end of the current academic year.
Before the start of the meeting, the students delighted those present with another premiere of the school theater. Under the leadership of the artistic director of the theater group E.V. Ivanova and music director A.A. Zatay pupils staged a musical performance to the music of G. Gladkov, “The Town Musicians of Bremen.” It involved not only soloists from high school, but also children from the school choir.
The meeting was opened by Deputy Director for Academic Affairs I.Yu. Samoilova. A representative of the administration noted that the general school quality of knowledge is 55.5%, while the average city level knowledge quality was 51.2%; At school, 40 children finished the semester with “Excellent” marks. According to the teacher, in terms of academic performance, the school is in 7th place in the ranking of city schools of different levels; The goal set for the school is to achieve a level of knowledge quality of 65%.
The meeting was continued by the school’s deputy director for educational work, S.V. Tsvetkova. The teacher raised the question of the need to strengthen parental control over the free time of pupils, especially over their involvement in social networks.
At the end of the meeting, the school director highlighted issues of spiritual and moral education of pupils. Joint activities of the pedagogical and parental communities were planned to promote the formation in children and adolescents of high moral qualities and the formation of a civic position.
