September 12, 2024 is the day of remembrance of the holy faithful Grand Duke Alexander Nevsky and the Venerable Alexander of Svir - the heavenly patrons of Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, Head of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan, permanent member of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church.
