The 130th anniversary of the Church of All Saints was prayerfully celebrated in the Petropavlovsk diocese

June 30, 2024 – the 1st week after Pentecost, the feast of All Saints who have pleased God from the beginning of time.
Archbishop Vladimir of Petropavlovsk and Bulaev led the celebrations on the occasion of the patronal feast of the Church of All Saints. This year marks the 130th anniversary of the consecration of the Church of All Saints.
A water blessing service was held before the service.
His Eminence was assisted by: Secretary of the Diocesan Administration Archpriest Sergiy Pervushin, Key-keeper of the Church of All Saints Priest Antony Shuvakin, clergy of the Church of All Saints Archpriest Evgeny Yashenkin and Priest Pavel Olesiyuk, Rector of the Church of St. Methodius in the city of Petropavlovsk Priest Mikhail Berezin, Key-keeper of the Church of St. Sebastian and St. Magdalene Priest Georgy Petrov; Deacon Vladimir Bartol, Deacon Pavel Orlov, Deacon Alexey Alexandrovich.
The church choir sang under the direction of I. L. Mikhailova.
After the Cherubic Hymn, Archbishop Vladimir performed the priestly ordination of Deacon Pavel Orlov, a cleric of the Church of the Apostles Peter and Paul.
At the end of the Liturgy, the archpastor, clergy, numerous worshipers and pilgrims walked in a religious procession around the church, during which a memorial service was held for all the deceased ministers of the parish, deceased parishioners and all those resting in the cemetery at the Church of All Saints.
A long life was proclaimed to the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus'; to the Head, archpastors, clergy and flock of the Kazakhstan Metropolitan District; to the President, authorities, army and all the people of Kazakhstan.
After the end of the service, Bishop Vladimir congratulated the clergy and parishioners on the patronal feast and delivered a sermon. Then the hierarch presented the parishioners of the church with awards of the Kazakhstan Metropolitan District and medals of the Holy Martyr Methodius, Bishop of Petropavlovsk.
As part of the festive event, a concert was held at the gymnasium in the name of St. Sergius of Radonezh, organized by the parish workers and school students. The parishioners were treated to church and classical chants, poems dedicated to the anniversary, dances and a festive waltz.
The celebrations ended with a common meal.
