A concert was held in the Astana deanery dedicated to the holiday of Easter and International Children's Day

June 1, 2024. Malotimofeevka village, Akmola region. At the end of the Divine Liturgy in the St. Nicholas Church, a concert was held on the territory of the church dedicated to the holiday of Easter and International Children's Day.й.
The guest of honor at the event was Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan.
The organizers of the holiday were: the representative office of the Federal Agency "Rossotrudnichestvo" in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the public organization "Russian House" with the support of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Astana, the organization of Russian compatriots in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The concert was attended by: the dean of Astana churches, Archimandrite Sergius (Karamyshev), the head of the Orthodox youth movement of the Astana deanery, Priest Grigory Kulikov, the clergyman of the St. Nicholas Church in the village of Malotimofeevka, Priest Vladislav Kovalenko, the head of the personal secretariat of the Head of the Metropolitan District, Hieromonk Prokhor (Endovitsky), the clergy and believers of the Astana church districts.
Among the guests of the festive event: the vicar of the Archdiocese of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Bishop Athanasius Schneider, the secretary of the Russian Embassy in Kazakhstan, S.S. Galchina, head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Kazakhstan, director of the Russian House in Astana O.A. Filonova, head of the branch of the Association of Russian, Slavic and Cossack organizations of Kazakhstan V.N. Dotsenko, representatives of ethnocultural and public organizations.
The concert was attended by: Cossack folk choir named after Viktor Ivanov “Stanichniki”; children's ensemble of Russian songs "Bee", youth ensemble of Russian and Cossack songs "Zarnitsa", folk ensemble of Russian songs "Razdolye".
Metropolitan Alexander opened the concert with his welcoming speech. The archpastor congratulated the organizers of the program, creative teams and those present on the bright holiday of God's saving Easter and International Children's Day.
Those gathered were offered a vibrant concert program consisting of song and dance performance, a theatrical skit, various competitions and games.
At the end of the concert, the event participants were offered a festive treat.
