The head of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan takes part in a meeting of the Holy Synod

May 30, 2024. Moscow. A meeting of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church took place at the Patriarchal and Synodal residence in the Danilov Monastery, chaired by His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus'.

Opening the meeting, the Primate of the Russian Church addressed the members of the Holy Synod with an opening speech, in which he presented the agenda.

Taking part in the meeting:
- permanent members of the Holy Synod: Metropolitan of Chisinau and All Moldova Vladimir; Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, Head of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan; Metropolitan Vincent of Tashkent and Uzbekistan, Head of the Central Asian Metropolitan District; Metropolitan of St. Petersburg and Ladoga Barsanuphius; Metropolitan Pavel of Krutitsky and Kolomna, Patriarchal Vicar of the Moscow Metropolis; Metropolitan Benjamin of Minsk and Zaslavsky, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus; Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, Chairman of the Department for External Church Relations; Metropolitan Nikandr of Naro-Fominsk, Chairman of the Financial and Economic Administration of the Moscow Patriarchate; Metropolitan Gregory of the Resurrection, manager of the affairs of the Moscow Patriarchate;
