A children's educational quiz “Two Capitals” took place at the Vladimir parish of Chemolgan station

On February 25, 2024, with the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, an educational quiz “Two Capitals”, dedicated to the hero cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg, was held in the church in honor of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God at Chemolgan station.

Pupils of Sunday schools of the Alma-Ata diocese took part in the event.

Before the start of the intellectual competition, the head of the Russian House in Almaty, M.S. Simakova, gave a review lecture on the history and present day of the two capitals of Russia.

Then, for two hours, the guys competed in a multi-stage quiz, which included tests, tasks and board games.

All competition participants from the Alma-Ata Diocesan Administration were presented with books and albums for coloring from the Association “Bible Society of Kazakhstan”
